If you are interested in volunteering this year at our camp, please complete the Camp Volunteer Application for 2017. All new volunteers for counselor and staff positions must be interviewed after receipt of their applications. Interviews for the 2017 camp will take place at Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church this spring. A convenient interview time will be scheduled for you after we receive your application.
STAFF AND COUNSELOR TRAINING
All volunteers require interviews and training in order to work with the campers. Volunteers who will spend the week at camp require the most training. Training will take place at Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church.
New volunteers must attend two training sessions.
Returning volunteers must attend on training session for all staff.

Gardendale-Mt. Vernon United Methodist Church hosts two large consignment sale fundraisers each year, generally in February and August. We need our camp volunteers to work at these sales, since the funding of our camp is heavily dependent on the number of hours worked by our staff and counselors.
Kingdom Kids Consignment Sale needs volunteer workers to raise money for our efforts. Sales are held twice per year in February and August. Go to the Kingdom Kids Consignment Sale volunteer page to sign up for time slots and help provide financial support for camp just by volunteering.
